Here are some of my recent articles and other projects:
This is an in-depth history I wrote of the Kansas Health Institute. It was commissioned by the Kansas Health Foundation and distributed to lawmakers, stakeholders and other interested parties:

My first piece for Kansas magazine, on newsstands now: “Midwest Memories: Kansas Sports Museum and Hall of Fame Take Visitors on a Treasured Journey”
Finished a new song in time for last Saturday’s gig at RD’s County Line (photo) in Mulvane. It’s called “Boot Scootin’ Bootay” and is a tongue-in-cheek tribute to the collaborations between country singers and rappers that have been popping up everywhere.
I seem to be specializing in inspirational stories about businesswomen lately. Here’a link to “With Sveta’s, Dreams Come True for Russian Immigrant”

A buddy snapped this photo of me playing at Public at the Brickyard in Old Town. Great crowd there, and another in Bite Me BBQ where I stopped a few minutes earlier. Kind of fun to be a part, however small, of a thriving entertainment district.
